Well hullo!
My name is Jen, I'm the creator of Hogwarts High and I'm so glad you've joined our site. I live in Colorado and love to write and suffocate my two cats with kisses and cuddles.
I started role playing back in 2002 when I was in college which helped to spark the writer in me and fully endorse this kind of role playing; it helped me get through depression and battle the rebellious time in my life when my world was hitting rock bottom. My first site, Hoggwarts, was run on Proboards and I got invited to play through a PM from my fanfiction stories. I took on the character of Neville Longbottom, then got asked by the Admin team to play Harry Potter (back in those days during the height of the HP fandom, The Golden Trio characters were quite often reserved, having to interview because people wanted to play them so badly). Around this time I also joined a few other HP boards, and even made a couple of my own that yeilded over 100 active players!
I even joined a couple of boards based on high school life, and through it made some great life-long friends.
I took a few years off from Role Playing, though I've wanted to get back into it for quite a while now, and decided to make my own board again: Hogwarts High, which throws together the wonderful world of Harry Potter and the exciting times of Muggle high school!
